Scottie Pippen’s barber must be shaking his head any time he sees Philadelphia 76ers center Andrew Bynum on television.  Andrew Bynum’s afro is easily one of the, if not the worst haircuts in the NBA.   Seriously.  Look at this thing:

As we go deeper and deeper into the season, one thing is pretty clear.  I’m Walter White, Jorel is Jesse Pinkman.  While Jorel’s wild picks may result in an awesome week from time to time (OK, once), my level headed picks have been rather consistent all year.  I went 9-5 (2-0 LOCKS) last week while Pinkman Jorel went 6-8 (2-1 LOCKS).  Check out my picks for week 9:

Kansas City @ San Diego -7.5 (WON)

Denver @ Cincinnati +3.5 (LOST)

Arizona +10.5 @ Green Bay (LOST) Read the rest of this entry »

Everything is bigger in Texas, or so it seems this weekend as NASCAR’s three series’ head to the Texas Motor Speedway. Out of the three national series events this weekend, none of them are remotely close to crowning a champion. Get ready for some fast and drama-packed action.

Texas Motor Speedway is located in Fort Worth, Texas and measures 1.5 miles around and it has 24 degrees of banking in the turns and the front straightaways are just slightly outward. Similar tracks to TMS is Atlanta Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Last year in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, Tony Stewart made it two in a row in the series as he backed up the smack talk against Carl Edwards. If you remember in my article last week, I mentioned how Stewart told Edwards that he should be worried. This was Stewart’s fourth victory in the Chase and definitely would put a dent in the runner-up Carl Edwards’ series lead, scoring the maximum points to trim Edwards’ advantage to just three points.  Read the rest of this entry »
