One of the most frustrating parts of MyTEAM in NBA2k14 is Domination mode and attaining a 3 star performance that will reward you with 3 packs.  There are a lot of videos on YouTube and threads online with theories on how to get 3 stars, but most of them are incorrect.  They all claim you need to score 80 points and get a lot of blocks.  This is NOT true.  The secret to getting 3 stars in Domination mode in NBA2k14 is… Read the rest of this entry »

I don’t know if everyone got what they wanted out of the True Detective finale last night. Hell, I doubt everyone got to watch it when they wanted to due to the whole HBO Go fiasco last night. What the hell was that? I was at a lovely True Detective themed party last night that was thrown by a friend of mine that came complete with cajun food, green spaghetti, chocolate antler chip cookies, Jameson, and Lone Star Beer (We only had the bottled beer though. They apparently don’t deliver cans to this part of the country). Unfortunately, there was no cocaine, meth, and sub machine guns but it was a hell of a party…..other than the whole HBO Go going to hell on us part. Kind of put a damper on things. But it worked this morning when I woke up and I got a chance to watch anyways. Read the rest of this entry »

After multiple jet setting trips for work, or an income that prevents you from purchasing anything remotely brand name, fitness is almost surely the first thing to get cut after reassessing finances or after throwing your bag down in the hotel room. Sucks, right? Wrong.

Here are a few body weight exercises you can do in the hotel room to develop and maintain some functional fitness physique before heading down to the hotel bar to check out the talent scene.

Hope you like folk music.  Episode 13 of Season 4 starts off where last week’s episode left off… with some music playing as Bob walks around alone (get it?) seemingly aimlessly.  The dude has some decent survival skills, though, which explains why he’s been able to stay alive for so long.  It’s a flashback to when Daryl and Glenn found him, before we break back to Maggie, Sasha and Bob taking on some walkers in the fog.  Oh shit, a walker got his jaws on Bob’s shoulder!  He gone… Read the rest of this entry »

The Atlanta Braves were one of the most well rounded teams in the MLB heading into the 2013 season. Their overall team strength showed throughout the season. They finished a solid 10 games ahead of the Washington Nationals to win the NL East. The Braves then proceeded to get bounced out of the first round of the playoffs by the Los Angeles Dodgers, in a 3-1 series. As history shows, the Braves have traditionally done well in the regular season, but have struggled with success in the playoffs. Could 2014 be the season the Braves break through?

This Sunday is the moment that we’ve all been anticipating and dreading at the same time. We’ve been anticipating this because the Rust and Marty’s story finally comes to a close. Will we find out who the Yellow King is and if there are prominent characters or members in his cult? Hopefully but I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t. This story has been and always been about Cohle and Hart’s life during this case so it could be by design that they never really solve the case or they die trying. We’ve been dreading this because……well…..WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO WATCH AFTER THIS?! I’ve been trying to get back into the Walking Dead but it’s really not as interesting as some of the quality shows that have been on television. No point in dreading about this now. It’s something we’ll (and by we, I mean me) worry about after the case is done.  Read the rest of this entry »

Last night Earl, Jon, and Matt were all over the place. First the guys touched on the NHL trades that were made around the NHL Trade Deadline, the NBA, the NFL and a little bit about the New York Mets. Be prepared for Matt’s rant on the New York Rangers and Earl’s on the New York Islanders.

Laughing stock, joke, league doormat, pathetic, worst organization in North American sports. New York Islanders fans have heard these words spewed at them for nearly twenty years. Some of it true, some of it not, but mostly pretty close. But the way the Thomas Vanek saga played itself out today or even the last 4 months, reassured Islanders fans that those words will continue to come their way.
