David+Ragan+Charlotte+Motor+Speedway+Day+3+80ZmLGE65AxlThe same day Kyle Busch leaves an area hospital in Florida, Joe Gibbs Racing announces who will strap in behind the wheel of his No. 18 Toyota Camry for an unknown period of time.

According to the team’s release, David Ragan “will pilot the No. 18 M&M’s Crispy Toyota for at least the next several weeks.” Currently there is no timetable on Busch’s recovery.

Busch, who was injured in the Xfinity Series race at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, suffered a compound fracture in his lower right leg and a broken left foot.

Ragan’s move was accommodated by Front Row Motorsports, the team he currently drives for, and sponsor CSX.

In addition, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series regular and part-time Xfinity Series driver Erik Jones has been named the driver of the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota in Saturday’s Xfinity race at Atlanta.

Announcements about additional substitute drivers for the No. 54 Toyota in the Xfinity Series will be made at a later date.

I don’t understand, the bigger teams get what they want? What the hell is wrong with Matt Crafton, he’s as good of driver as D Regan. Keep Joe, he’ll get you the same results as Regan. I thought he owns a ford dealer ship, yea right? D Reagan is nothen special. All the drivers are pretty much equal. To prove my point check out last years results against to Joe’s this Sunday. Your all a bunch of idiots, especially the owner of the 34 team, what a team let down! Go JOE prove that your capable of Getty a 25-30. Finish.
