Unless you’ve been living under a rock, by now I’m sure you’ve heard about Marcus Smart shoving a Texas Tech fan in Oklahoma State’s loss at Tech on Saturday.  That fan is Jeff Orr, a Red Raiders superfan who has reportedly traveled over 32,000 miles in a year to follow his beloved football and basketball team around the country.  The guy is passionate about Texas Tech sports, but he’s also an asshole. Missouri v Texas A&M

Former Texas A+M quarterback Johnny Manziel has been one of the most glorified college quarterbacks since Tim Tebow. He is talented, flashy and most importantly he is completely confident in himself. With a solid college football career behind him, how will he transition into the NFL? That is one of the biggest questions facing the Houston Texans as the 2014 NFL Draft is fast approaching.

Brandon Ashley

The game was a little more than 2 minutes old when former #1 ranked Arizona lost starting forward Brandon Ashley for the season, and went on to lose their first game of the season to unranked Cal.  I’ve been touting Arizona as my pick for National Champion since November.  Now what?  Welp. My Final Four picks and National Champion prediction have changed. Read the rest of this entry »

This weekend isn’t all about the Super Bowl.  Saturday, February 1st is one of the biggest days of the 2013-2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball season featuring 17 different games that include 21 of the Top 25 ranked teams.  If you’re a college basketball fan, this is the perfect day to park yourself in front of the TV and soak it all in.  And if you’re into wagering on NCAA Men’s Basketball games, Hook’s got the inside scoop: Read the rest of this entry »

Fran McCaffery

15th ranked Iowa had a golden opportunity to knock off #7 Michigan State on Tuesday night at home, but they blew it.  It wasn’t the Hawkeyes players’ fault, though.  No, this one, much like the Wisconsin game, is on Coach Fran McCaffery.   Read the rest of this entry »

My nosebleed view for the 2nd and 3rd rounds at Rupp Arena last Spring

It’s no secret that I believe Arizona has the best chance of winning the 2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, but a lot of people have been asking me how confident I am in my prediction.  Even though I’ve correctly predicted the NCAA Men’s Basketball Champion for the past 5 out of 6 years (I had Memphis over Kansas, would be 6 for 6 if Mario Chalmers didn’t exist) before the season even started, I’m never 100% confident.  Here’s my level of confidence per team who legitimately has a shot at winning it all, and why: Read the rest of this entry »

The Nostradamus of NCAA Men’s Basketball is back to give you my mid-season update to my 2013-2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball Preview, All-American and Final Four Predictions article.  I told you Arizona would roll this season, and correctly predicted the demise of Louisville, Michigan, UNC, Gonzaga, and VCU.  But I didn’t see everything coming as I don’t have no crystal ball (Sublime reference), so let’s check out the current rankings and update my Final Four and All-American predictions. The Arizona Wildcats are the consensus number one team in the country right now. With a 16-0 record and tough wins against top ranked teams like Duke and road wins against Michigan and UCLA, the Wildcats are battle tested yet their record remains unscathed.  Read the rest of this entry »

Lauren Hanely 2

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel was spotted with a beautiful girl (shocking) yesterday while leaving the “FSU Takes Over Hollywood” party at the Emerson Theatre. The hottie was Miss COED August 2013 Lauren Hanley. What a shocker, TMZ has a video of them leaving the party!  Don’t worry, we’ll have a gallery of Johnny’s latest hottie after the jump.
