New England Patriots Tight End Aaron Hernandez has not been ruled out as a suspect in the death of Odin Lloyd, who was found shot in the back of the head Monday in an industrial park near Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough, Mass.  To make matters worse, there are reports that Hernandez destroyed his home security system and cell phone.  Hmm, those actions aren’t suspicious at all.  These actions have us asking ourselves, is Aaron Hernandez the next Rae Carruth?  Read the rest of this entry »

It’s the two best words in sports: Game 7.

Sports fans around the country are in for a treat tonight as the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs face off in a winner take all game for the NBA Championship.

After four consecutive blowouts in Games 2-5, Game 6 was one for the ages. It had everything you ever wanted in a finals game.

So after all the craziness that has been this year’s NBA Finals, there is only one thing we know for sure, and that is that no one really knows what to expect in tonight’s game. But here’s how I see Game 7 playing out.

There’s no denying that Kanye West is a polarizing figure in the music industry. However, whether you love to hate him or you hate to love him, there is no denying that he usually makes music that everyone will talk about whether the music itself is good or bad. That’s great for record sales  but at the end of the day, your output is a musician’s legacy so does Yeezus pass muster? The answer is a resounding Hail No.  Read the rest of this entry »

University of Florida's quarterback Tebow celebrates with Hernandez after throwing a touchdown pass during their NCAA football game against the University of Arkansas in Gainesville

I knew he would come in handy one way or another. Many people were confused when the New England Patriots signed Tim Tebow. There is no room for him, they said. With Tom Brady and Ryan Mallet at quarterback, why do you need Tebow? One word, versatility. Tim Tebow is as versatile as they come. His physical attributes make me think that he could line up at other positions on offense, most notably Tight End. Nobody loves versatility as much as Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick, who I believe plans to use Tebow in many different ways.

Being a man, there are only a few things that matter in life. Sports, chicks, beer and a good razor. You can deal with your mediocre sports team, an average looking girl, or a so-so beer (as long as it’s cold). But you can’t live with an OK razor.

Our friends at were nice enough to send us some razors to try out and wanted to know how their low-cost razors stacked up to the ones we used. After growing out my “playoff beard”, it was time to shave it off after my beloved New York Islanders were eliminated in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Read the rest of this entry »

The Miami Heat have defeated the San Antonio Spurs 103-100 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Down by 10 points heading into the 4th quarter, LeBron James realized it was time to put the team on his back and carry the Heat to victory. James got fouled early in the fourth, and on the play lost his headband. This seemed to ignite the King as he went off right after that. Will we see the headband in Game 7? Who knows.

LeBron ended the night with 32 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block.

Tim Duncan led the Spurs offensive attack, scoring 30 points (25 in the first half) and grabbing 17 rebounds.

Here are some of the key plays late in the game.
