A winter storm has snarled traffic in the Southeast, including Atlanta, leaving people stranded on the highways, stores, and schools overnight; but at least one lucky citizen was rescued…by former Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones.
Jones became the MVP when he rode to the rescue of an ex-teammate who was stranded.
Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman sent out an SOS on Twitter, and to his surprised had it answered by Jones.
