The Miami Heat recently just visited the White House recently like all champions of leagues in the United States eventually do. Well, the First Lady of the United States decided to take advantage of this by making a video spot for her campaign for people to eat healthier, which you can find more about at However, the video spot also gave us an early contender for gif of the year as you can see above.  Read the rest of this entry »

I’m going to take a break from my squat series and talk about Crossfit considering the recent news regarding Kevin Ogar, who sustained a spinal cord injury after attempting to perform a snatch during a competition (this will be discussed later).

Is it safe to do Crossfit?  I get this question frequently from patients, clients, and strangers alike when I either unmask myself as a PT or I reveal my secret plan about consulting with Crossfit gyms like Concrete Jungle on the Upper East Side of NYC.

Milwaukee Bucks’ rookie forward Giannis Antekounmpo has surpassed all expectations placed on him this season and has played extremely well. He’s the youngest player in the league, and he’s already performing like a seasoned veteran.

Giannis “The Alphabet” Antekounmpo is already 6’10” and doctors have he still has a few inches to grow. He has a 7’5″ wing span and his hands are HUMONGOUS.

Seriously, this guy may have the biggest hands in the entire NBA. Following last night’s Bucks/Spurs game, NBA TV Canada’s Payal Doshi got a chance to compare hands with The Alphabet, and the result is a hysterical picture. Check it out here. Read the rest of this entry »

This week the Los Angeles Dodgers signed Clayton Kershaw to a 7 year $215 million contract.  This is a fabulous move since by the time the contract is over he will only be 32 and as we all know lefthanders are immortal so he will probably still have one more big time contract at that point.  Good for Kershaw and good for the Dodgers who probably still have enough money to sign Tanaka and three Cuban players who haven’t even announced that they’re defecting yet.

Ashley Lillian twitter superbowl

Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks made all the news last night after his game ending pass deflection against the San Francisco 49ers, and then with his post game comments to Erin Andrews.  Luckily for the Denver Broncos, Richard will have a calming influence waiting for him when he gets home.  Sherman’s girlfriend is an attractive woman named Ashley Lillian Moss, whom we don’t really know much about.  If you check out her twitter page, that’s about as much info as you can get.

In the meantime, here are some photos of her from her Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Manning Jets
One of my best Twitter followers, Nicky Seashells (@NJD107) was out at Park East sushi lounge in Hazlet, NJ and saw this monon with his Peyton Manning New York Jets Jersey on.  I CC’d @DarrenRovell on it and it’s gotten a bunch of RT’s.  Seashells wanted me to put it up here for everyone to see as well.  He’s a very sensitive man.

NFL Championship Weekend

Photo provided by

Last week when I made my terrible predictions for the Saturday playoff games, I actually picked the winning teams for once.  Go me! I was is in such shock that I didn’t even make my Sunday picks.  Now that we have come to the NFL’s version of the Final Four, we actually have the four best teams battling it out for a trip to the Superbowl. The Denver Broncos travel to Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots at 3PM ET and then the San Francisco 49ers take on the Seattle Seahawks and the 12th Man at 6:30PM ET. On one hand you have the AFC Championship game in which we would expect nothing less than a crazy shootout between the two best quarterbacks of this generation, or maybe even all time.  And then on the other, you have the NFC Championship game matchup of two smash mouth teams that will try to ram the ball down each other’s throats and play top-notch defense.

Saturday night, Paul George and the Indiana Pacers handily beat the Los Angeles Clippers 106-92. To add to the Clippers defeat, Paul George may have pulled off the most impressive live game dunk in recent NBA history.

The Metrodome has been a center piece in Minnesota sports since it was built in 1982. It has been home to the Minnesota Twins, Timberwolves and most recently the Vikings.  The deflation turns a page in Minnesota sports as all of the professional sports teams have their own stadiums. The Vikings’ new stadium is expected to be ready by the 2016 season.

NFL Fans Biggest Superstitions

January 17, 2014 by

NFL fans will be huddled closely around the television this Sunday to see who will be able to fight their way to the Superbowl. Before, during and after the games, fans follow certain superstitions so their team preforms well. For some reason, fans do ridiculous things in belief that it will help their team win. I am one of those myself. Being that I am a fellow superstitious fan, I made a list of the biggest superstitions NFL fans have.
