Ovince St. Preux choked out Nikita Krylov at 1:29 in round 1 at UFC 171 in Dallas, TX. Krylov tried to get a guillotine choke on St. Proux as the two men were grappling on the ground, but St. Preux countered with a sneaky choke of his own to secure the victory.

Check out the choke after the jump.

The Texas Rangers have been a power house over the past couple seasons. With two World Series appearances over the past few years, the Rangers have been on the cusp of glory, but have not been able to get that World Series crown. Last season they took a step back by missing the playoffs by 1 game in the AL Wildcard and 5.5 games in the AL West. This year’s Texas Rangers have a new look. They traded their long time second baseman Ian Kinsler to the Detroit Tigers for slugging first baseman Prince Fielder. They also made a splash in free agency by signing outfielder Shin-Soo Choo. With these offseason moves could this be the change that the Rangers need to push them into World Series glory?

TSB Radio Episode #34

March 13, 2014 by

TSB Logo Small

Last night on TSB Radio, the guys got to talk about a bunch of things. Topics included: Darelle Revis signed with the New England Patriots shortly before they went on the air, Phil Jackson seems close to joining the New York Knicks, True Detective finale, The New York Mets, and even some NHL was brought up.

Thanks to callers @Graves9, @MidnightBashem, and @xTomatoez

The Philadelphia Phillies had a season to forget last year. With injuries, increasing age and lack of performance, the Phillies finished last season in 4th place in the NL East. If there are a few words the media would use to describe the Phillies, it would be “old” and “worn down.” While one cannot deny the fact that their core players are getting up in age, I would disagree with the worn down aspect.

Last night, a Wall Street Journal article was written entitled, “In the Mets Locker Room, an Old Slur Resurfaces”. If you are a New York Mets fan, you know that they have been subject to this type of ridicule in the past, and that there’s a certain journalist with an agenda that I will not name in this post.

Surprisingly, that journalist isn’t the one who wrote the piece. Instead it was a 27-year-old journalist for the WSJ named Stu Woo. In his piece, Woo essentially paints the Mets pitching coach, 61-year old Dan Warthen, as a racist. Read the rest of this entry »

Multiple outlets are reporting that the Knicks and Phil Jackson have come to an agreement where the Zen Master will run the show in New York, and free agent WR Eric Decker has agreed to sign with the New York Jets.  New York fans across social media can barely contain their excitement, even if these reports are yet to be confirmed. Last night on Stache Radio, the guys covered a multitude of topics.  The New York Mets shortstop situation is always a focal point, as well as anytime a player has a boot put on.  Especially when it’s Ike Davis.

Special thanks to callers @xTomatoez and @BootyClapThunder.  Check out the show and let us know what you think!

juan pablo 2

The Bachelor is over and what a dramatic conclusion.

The show started off with Juan Pablo and his family spending some in-depth time with the women. After, his family “interviewed” each woman, Juan Pablo charmed them in his usual idiotic way and both women poured their hearts out to him.

Juan Pablo
And then there were two, so, it has been a long journey for TV’s bachelor Juan Pablo’s quest for love, but the question remains: who will he choose?

The two lovely women who will go head to head tonight before the final rose are Nikki Ferrell and Clare Crawley. Who he should have chosen and who he will choose are two entirely different things because let’s face it, while my pick is Nikki, I think he should have kept Rene Otero, however, after her recent engagement it seems like Juan Pablo has lost out.
