Jordan Spieth has won the 2015 US Open after Dustin Johnson 3-putted on the 18th hole at Chambers Bay.  Both Spieth and Johnson hit amazing second shots into the par-5 18th hole.  Spieth missed his eagle try by inches and tapped in for birdie to take a one shot lead.  Johnson followed up in the next group by knocking a 5 iron from 247 yards to within 12 feet. Johnson then knocked his eagle try a good 4 feet by, and then missed the putt to tie.

The win gives Spieth wins in the first two majors of the 2015 season. He now becomes just the sixth golfer in history to accomplish that feat.  He’ll be looking to make it three in a row next month at the British Open at historic St. Andrews. Golf has a new star. It’s time for the PGA Tour to go all in on this kid.
