From here on out, we’re going to do things a little different here at TSB when it comes to AMC’s The Walking Dead. Instead of an all-out recap, we’re gonna give you our reaction to each week’s episode and the Kill Count. (**SPOILER ALERT** Although we won’t go through the episode step by step, this article will contain spoilers)

Kill Count: 10 (8 Walkers, 2 People)
For 3 months we were left hanging, wondering what was going to happen to Daryl and Merle. We knew they were in some sort of “fight to the death” scenario, but had no clue how it was going to pan out. Shocker! They pretend to fight each other, band together, and escape way too easily with the help of Rick and Maggie. Way too predictable, Walking Dead. That shit was weak. And as for the Hines Ward walker that was so hyped up? He was onscreen for about a fraction of a second. Double weak.

Again, at the first commercial break, it’s Chris Hardwick pushing AMC’s Talking Dead. This show is an hour long now? Goddamn it. A half hour was plenty. I like when they have the characters from the show on to discuss the episode we just watched, but I can’t stand Hardwick’s spoilers. We get it brah, you read all the comics. Enough already.
Glenn and Michonne are waiting for Rick and Maggie, and they almost lose their shit when Merle is with them. Honestly, I think Rick should have popped Merle in the melee that ensued when saving Daryl, but I like the angle of him being around. Daryl had to choose the group or his brother, and of course he chooses to go off with his brother. Blood is thicker than water.

My favorite part of the episode is when Glenn stomps the shit out of a walker that he pulls from an abandoned car. Clearly taking out some frustration, he turns the walker’s head to mush and then apparently gets a post-walker-kill-boner.

In this episode, the two white dudes in Tyrese’s group contemplate taking out Carol and Carl and taking over the prison while Rick is gone. We learn Tyrese is a genuinely good person, as he squashes that idea real fast. Carl would have smoked those fools anyway. The kid put his own mother out of her misery. There’s no way he’d hesitate to pop a couple of goobers that pose a threat to the group.
As for Tyrese, you better believe there will be a time where he proves he’s for the good of the group, and I have a feeling the two white guys are going to get their skulls caved in with Tyrese’s hammer.
The episode ends with Rick losing his shit, seeing Lori again looking down on the group in the prison. I was really hoping the “Rick lost his mind” angle was over, but it seems like we’re just getting started.
It was a bad time for Tyrese and his group for Rick to go bat-shit crazy again, as they were just asking him if they could stay and join the group. After seeing the ghost of his wife, Rick starts waving his gun in the air like a mad-man, scaring everyone stiff. Tyrese and his gang leave the room, while Glenn and Hershel try to get Rick under control. I feel like the Ricktatorship, albeit short-lived, is coming to an end real soon.
