According to Jay Glazer at Fox Sports, and the intrest was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Minnesota Vikings have traded WR Percy Harvin to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for draft picks.

The disgruntled WR has been the subject of trade rumors since the season ended. The Vikings have denied multiple times that they were trading their superstar Wide Receiver, but it was obvious that Harvin wanted out. Now, he is reportedly on his way to Seattle for a physical. It is currently being reported that Seattle is giving up their first round pick in this year’s draft, but that is not yet official.
Harvin reportedly will now ask the Seahawks for a contract extension of about $10 Million a year. This would make him one of the highest paid Wide Receivers in the NFL.

This move does not only solidify Seattle’s offense, Harvin is also an elite kick returner. With Harvin joining Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch, along with their great defense, the Seahawks are going to be a force to be reckoned with in the NFC West for years to come. Also, as far as Fantasy Football goes, I think that this is a very good move for Harvin. He may not get the same amount of touches that he got in Minnesota, but there is no doubt that the Seattle coaches will work to get him the ball in what is a much better offense, with Russell Wilson being a huge upgrade over Christian Ponder.
