Two weeks after San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, was spotted wearing a Miami Dolphins hat during a 4th of July party, the decision is still being discussed. This time the discussion is from his 49ers teammate, NaVorro Bowman.

“This is a huge mistake by Kaep,” Bowman said. “I’m sure he understands that now. In his defense, we’re young, in our era these days we like to match out snapbacks with our outfits.”
“The hats now these days are very important to the outfit, so Kaep I understand what you did, but let’s stay away from the NFL tams,” he added. ”Stick to the NBA, go to college or baseball hats.”

Considering some of the off the field decisions a few dozen NFL players have made this offseason, the choice in headwear is the least of concerns. And it least it isn’t the dumbest hat choice of the offseason.
As you may recall Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey and Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey were seen in Miami a few weeks ago wearing “Free Hernandez” hats, in honor of their former Florida Gators teammate, Aaron Hernandez who is charged with premediated murder of Odin Lloyd.
Maybe Bowman and Kaepernick can discuss their fashion options when the two report to camp next week.
Perhaps Kaepernick is better off being photographed with nothing on?
