Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank and city mayor Kasim Reed announced in March, their plans to build a new stadium in Atlanta for the Falcons. Two of the early plans for the stadium have been released, and it looks like the Falcons might be building something that we have never seen before.

There are currently two different plans. The first of which is a little bit more what we are used to with a square structure as you can see in the photo directly above, but the second idea is completely out of this world. The outside of the stadium has a bunch of shapes and edges. It does not look like anything I have seen before. That is the picture at the beginning of the post.
Both ideas have the retractable roof, which is always nice. The plans also highlight “Impact Seating” where the seats vibrate when a hit is made on the ball carrier, IMAX screens, a fantasy football lounge, and a Falcons Man Cave. Sounds and looks like some cool ideas that just might blow Jerry Jones’ billion dollar playpen out of the water.
