February 28, 2015 by

Anthony Mason, a 13 year NBA veteran, has died due to complications of congestive heart failure. He spent his career playing for the New York Knicks, Charlotte Hornets, Miami Heat, and Milwaukee Bucks. However, as a man that bleeds orange and blue, I’ll always remember him as being a key cog for the Knicks during many of their playoff runs in the early to mid 90’s.  Read the rest of this entry »

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. If you’re anything like me (and if you’re lucky, you probably are), you’ve been waiting a long time for this. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer just came out a few minutes ago. If there is anything I like more than dinosaurs, it’s aliens with light sabers. Also, things flying around in ways that can’t physically happen yet. Check out the trailer, after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

Let’s take a look. Read the rest of this entry »

By now, I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of the Ray Rice firestorm that has set a 4 alarm blaze on the internet and all news outlets. Just in case you’ve been living under a media blackout or in a cave, I will give you the gist: A video came out on Monday that showed Ray Rice pulling a Mike Tyson on Janay Palmer among other things. It was pretty horrific. For whatever reason, Paul George of the Indiana Pacers decided to notify the Twitter-verse of his controversial opinions on domestic violence: Read the rest of this entry »

Eli and Peyton Manning are at it again, appearing in a rap video for DirectTV’s new Fantasy Football channel.

Remember when Eli and Peyton manning did a parody rap commercial for DirectTV last year? It was one of the best things about the preseason of 2013. They somehow topped it with this year’s DirectTV commercial campaign for their fantasy football channel campaign. Why are you still reading this? Watch the video after the jump! Guys! Hey, guys! The Knicks made a move! No, we didn’t get Eric Bledsoe or Greg Monroe or anyone that can immediately help Melo and the Zen Master bring the Knicks to NBA relevancy this season. It’s nothing that monumental. We did trade for Travis Outlaw and Quincy Acy though. Doesn’t exactly get your juices flowing, huh? No? Not even a teensy eensy bit?  Read the rest of this entry »

Last summer, twitter was taken over by Sharknado-mania….a movie starring Ian Ziering that aired on the SyFy channel. It was about….well, you can take a wild guess. If you can’t….what the hell is wrong with you? It was about tornadoes sucking up sharks from the ocean and thus making them “twisters with teeth” that rampaged California. Well, SyFy had a brilliant idea for the sequel. Why not bring Sharknadoes to the city that never sleeps? Read the rest of this entry »
