NASCAR fans taking to Talladega Superspeedway this weekend maybe doing a double take this weekend when they see the No. 51 of Kurt Busch on the track this weekend. The driver, who came into this weekend’s race without a sponsor, decided to have some fun with the hood of his car.

As you will recall from the movie Talladega Nights, Ricky Bobby found himself in a similar situation and designed his own car with the words “Me” written on the hood, saying he was racing for himself only. He also put a cougar named Karen. The cougar would represent Ricky Bobby’s fear of driving fast.

Kurt Busch even brought his own cougar, a stuffed animal of course, to the track and has taken to Twitter to tweet some of Ricky Bobby’s famous catchphrases including “If you ain’t first, you’re last!”

Kurt Busch’s girlfriend, Patricia Driscoll, who is the head of the Armed Forces Foundation is the one who approached James Finch with the idea to run the Talladega Nights car, while raising awareness to the Armed Forces Foundation. The AFF does charitable work with armed service members suffering from post traumatic stress disorder.

So, does this make Driscoll, Susan?
