Earl is currently the only member of TSB who is in an actual Hall of Fame. Among his many amateur athletic accolades, he is in the Bowling Hall of Fame in St. Louis, Missouri for his multiple 300 games. He has also competed in an amateur golf tournament against Sergio Garcia, and played in the junior college national championships. Now that he's in the real world, he lives out his professional athletic fantasy through a men's house ice hockey team and Sunday morning tee times. Hit him up on twitter for his rants and "colorful" commentary on live games at @EarlTSB.

Thor Matz

The New York Mets have this pretty awesome pitcher rotting on their AAA Las Vegas team. The Mets also have a pretty awesome pitcher in Flushing that is on an innings limit. Why not use these two pitchers to create a dynamic tag team of sorts? Noah Syndergaard and Steven Matz should be the next great tag team.

At 2:13 of the third round at UFC 188 in Mexico City, Fabricio Werdum submitted Cain Velasquez via guillotine choke to win the UFC Heavyweight championship. This was Velasquez’ first fight in 602 days due to injury and was clearly affected by the altitude of Mexico City, Mexico. Cain was extremely sluggish towards the end of the first round and slowed more and more as the fight went on. Check out the choke after the jump.
