The Philadelphia Eagles started out fast, and then got furious. After blazing down the field on their opening drive, the Eagles had a first and goal at the 4 yard line. Michael Vick then threw a terrible screen pass out to LeSean McCoy that was batted down by Washington Redskins lineman Ryan Kerrigan. DeAngelo Hall scooped it up and took it to the house for the first TD of the season.

The Dallas Cowboys defeated the New York Giants tonight, and for once it was Eli Manning crapping the bed, not Tony Romo. The Giants coughed the ball up 6 times in the 36-31 defeat.

Late in the 4th quarter, Manning threw a bad screen pass that backup runningback Da’Rel Scott wasn’t completely ready for. The ball bounced off his arm and right into the hands of Dallas cornerback Brandon Carr, who took it to the house for 6. This ultimately lead to the first “Manningface” of the season.

Minnesota Vikings All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson, just took the first play from scrimmage 78 yards to the house for a TD! First. Play. Of. The. Season.

AP is now on pace for 783 TD’s. Eat your heart out Peyton Manning.

Hook and Ladder

Late night west coast college football always produces some awesome stuff. Tonight, up by 20 points already in the second quarter, The Fresno State Bulldogs pull off the ol’ “Hook and Ladder” play against Cal Poly. It’s nice to see the fat guys gettin’ some love for all the dirty work that they do.
