Can’t even go to the bathroom with out a Pokemon popping up
Pokémon Go is taking the world by storm. Nintendo’s stock (NTDOY) is up 60% year to date after skyrocketing 33% on Monday due to the mobile app’s recent release and growth in popularity. As childish as running around trying to catch fictitious animated animals may be, grown men and women alike are wandering around their respective cities doing just that. If you’re like me and never played anything Pokémon related before, but still want to see what all the buzz is about, you’re going to need some advice.
My first tip, and it’s a doozy- Read the rest of this entry »
Madden NFL 16 was released today, and to promote the game last Friday they released Madden: The Movie on YouTube. The 5 minute video features Dave Franco and
McLovin Christopher Mintz-Plasse along with several NFL stars in an action flick mock-up. There are special effects, explosions, Julio Jones karate chopping a guy for about 20 seconds straight, and many more awesome scenes featuring faces every NFL fan would recognize. You can watch the full “movie” after the jump.
While the Madden Curse (I wrote Curse with a capital C because it’s fucking real) usually affects the cover athlete of the game at some point in the season, I noticed a scene in the move that foreshadowed a big-name NFL player’s demise. Take a look for yourself: Read the rest of this entry »
SAN DIEGO, CA – JULY 09: Comic-Con attendees are treated to customized shaves by professional barbers at the Schick Hydro Underground shave station at the Assassin’s Creed Experience at Comic-Con on July 9, 2015 in San Diego, California. (Photo by Araya Diaz/Getty Images for Schick Hydro)
The good people at Schick were on hand at the San Diego Comic Con this weekend. Schick has partnered with Assassin’s Creed to create The Schick Underground, where consumers were able to receive shaves beneath the chaotic streets of Britain’s Industrial Revolution – inspired by the game’s upcoming Syndicate edition. Schick Hydro is helping attendees #ProtectYourNeck from the threats of rival gangs at the AC Experience and the treacherous shaves of their past for a comfortable, hydrating shave.
Check out some of the fun at The Schick Underground.

2K is already taking pre-orders for the September release of NBA2K16, the latest installment in their basketball franchise. The cover will feature either Steph Curry, James Harden, Anthony Davis, or Michael Jordan (the first 3 will include the art of the other 2, if you buy the Jordan special edition you won’t get the other art). While they make improvements and adjustments every year, there are a few items on my list I’d like to see that they won’t be adding, because they want to keep their E for everyone rating. I logged about 8 hours on Dying Light, started over, and logged another 3 hours. I’m not an expert on the game by any means, but I’ve figured out a few things that made me want to go back and do it “right” the 2nd time around. If you’ve started the game and are finding it a bit difficult, hopefully there’s something in this article that’ll help you out. If you have any info of your own that I didn’t cover, drop it in the comments section, I’ll add it, and give you props. Read the rest of this entry »
I’m not making fun of social anxiety. It’s real. People suffer from it. I don’t think Marshawn Lynch should have to speak to the media if he doesn’t want to. The fact that the NFL mandates their players must speak to the media is a little ridiculous.
With that said, I don’t think Marshawn Lynch has severe social anxiety. I think he just doesn’t like talking to people he doesn’t want to talk to, and doesn’t like talking about things he doesn’t want to talk about. Check out this hilarious video of Marshawn Lynch playing Mortal Kombat X with Conan O’Brien and Rob Gronkowski and see for yourself: Read the rest of this entry »
From free VC to random in-game items, Locker Codes are an essential part of the NBA2K video game franchise. I’ll be updating this article every time a verified Locker Code for NBA2K15 comes out for next gen consoles (sorry 360/PS3 users, step your game up). Some of these Locker Codes are limited/have expiration dates, though, so don’t flip out on me if they no longer work (I’ll do my best to identify the limited/expired codes). While it’s much easier to get 3 stars in MyTEAM Domination mode for NBA2k15 than it was in NBA2k14, If you’re reading this article you’re probably having a little difficulty with it. I’m a big fan of what NBA2k15 did this year with Domination mode, as it becomes progressively harder to achieve as you go along. Click “Read more of this entry” to find out how to get 3 stars every single time. Read the rest of this entry »
I enjoyed NBA2K14 at first. So much so that I wrote a couple of articles about it on this site trying to help others get as much free VC as possible, and succeed in MyTEAM Domination Mode. But after playing NBA2K14 for months on end, I grew tired of it. The MyNBA2K14 mobile app became a huge distraction in my life. Online play was just an exploitation of glitches (I routinely made at least 1 of the opponents players foul out by halftime by taking charges). And don’t get me started on the fluctuating prices of team packs in MyTEAM mode, and the couple hundred thousand VC I spent on Miami Heat packs only to get about 9 Chris Andersen cards and ZERO LeBron, Wade, or Bosh cards.
About 3 weeks ago, I swore off NBA2K14. Sold it on eBay for like $16, happy to get anything out of it at all. I had no plans to buy NBA2K15 at all, but then this happened: Read the rest of this entry »
A few months ago, I wrote an article discussing the easiest way to earn VC in NBA2k14 in which I advised everyone to download the MyNBA2k14 app. Through this app you can earn anywhere from 1200-2000 VC every single day through the daily VC bonus and by playing 10 quick games in MyTEAM Mobile. While in my original article I said there weren’t any hacks or glitches, I was wrong. I’ve stumbled upon a glitch where you can earn as much VC as you want (if you have the time on your hands).
