As a Generation “X” kid, I grew up like many others idolizing professional wrestlers. In the early 80’s, Wrestlemania was born and pro wrestling took on the national stage with the WWF. I couldn’t wait until Saturday morning to turn on WWF Superstars, catch the occasional Saturday Night Main Event on MSG Network, and beg my parents to fork over the $40 to let me and my friends get Summer Slam on pay-per-view.

Thanks to Bobby Riedel of Integrity Bookings , I was able to speak with one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time. Greg “The Hammer” Valentine’s career has spanned over 35 years and he was elected to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004. We touch on subjects such as his Hall of Fame induction, his pre-WWF years, “The Wrestler” and a few other things. I had such a great time talking with Mr. Valentine and I hope you enjoy our conversation.
