It’s pretty clear that Richard Sherman doesn’t like the opinion that he’s trying to gain notoriety at the expense of other athletes via trash talk. He’s had 2 solid years in the NFL and is one of (if not the) best corners in the league. As a casual viewer of Skip Bayless’ segments, I used to think that he made some good points, but as of late it’s become clear to me that all Skip Bayless cares about is promoting himself, usually via controversial statements. Even if Richard Sherman was trying to gain notoriety via trash talk, Skip Bayless calling him out for it is the quintessential example of the pot calling the kettle black..
