Serge Ibaka Fined Only $25k and NOT Suspended for Blake Griffin Nut Shot. This is Absurd

I had the same reaction when I heard the news, Blake.

If you haven’t seen it yet, Serge Ibaka delivered a blatant nut-shot to Blake Griffin on Sunday, the likes of which Kobe Bryant commented  ”I probably would have smacked him in the mouth.”  The shot was so blatant and so dirty, just check it out for yourself:

I was expecting a major fine and at least a 1 game suspension (a la Dwyane Wade’s nut-kick of Ramon Sessions), but all Ibaka gets is a slap on the wrist $25k fine.  What a joke.  Blake Griffin has been going nuts all day on twitter retweeting supporters, but my favorite tweet about the nut-shot comes from Blake himself:

At least he has a sense of humor about it.
