Last night the New York Yankees had three picks in the first round of the Major League Baseball Draft. With the 33rd selection, the Yankees selected left-handed high school pitcher Ian Clarkin.

The folks on the MLB Network panel really liked the pick and described him as a “very projectable pitcher with lots of upside”. That’s basically what you want to hear about your first round pick.
