In case you don’t know, SEC media days is a chance for media and fans alike to flock to Hoover, Alabama’s Wynfrey Hotel for a chance to interview and meet some of the Southeastern Conference’s best players and coaches.
On Thursday afternoon, BCS defending championships, the Alabama Crimson Tide and Nick Saban took to the podium to talk about the upcoming season. After the media availability, fans were able, if they were lucky, to meet their favorite coach. One fan took the time to praise Saban in a very unusual way.

After the jump, find out what Lee Allen from Decatur, Alabama had to say about the coach. You’ll be shocked to find out who he compared Saban too.
“He’s a winner, he just does what he wants to do,” says Lee Allen, an Alabama fan from Decatur. “He’s kind of like Hitler. He’s a dictator. He brought us back to the top and I figure we’re going to be here for a while. Money well spent.”

Wait, what? Hitler? You mean that as a compliment? “Yeah,” Allen says in between discreetly spitting tobacco juice into a water bottle in the lobby.
So yeah, that’s a bit terrifying.
I suggest you check out the rest of the AL.com story. It is a fun read, including more shall I say interesting Bama fans who, if they were lucky, able to meet Saban.
