Jonah Keri of ESPN tweeted out this wicked awesome video of Colorado Rockies first base coach, Rene Lachemann, lecturing a young Phillies fan during Wednesday night’s game.

The lecture started when Lachemann gave the young boy a souvenir baseball between innings and then went on a typical run of “be a good kid”tips, including “don’t pee on the toilet seat” and “do your homework.”
Lachemann has been in and around the MLB since debuting as a catcher in 1965. He has seen and done it all in over the past 50 years. He has never lost his passion for the game and he appreciates the fans, no matter who they cheer for on the field.
