You got that right Johnny. MTV’s The Challenge: Rivals 2 was smash mouth till the end tonight.

I never really understood the “rivalry” between Aneesa and Diem, but as the show has gone on, we are starting to see their rivalry grow deeper. Diem asks Aneesa at the beginning of the show if she wants to race in the pool and who ever has the fastest time wins. Sounds like a fun way to keep the competitive juices flowing between teammates. Oh, you aren’t into that, Aneesa? My bad. They get back into their room and Aneesa starts going on and on about how all Diem wants to do is run, like it’s a disease. NEWS FLASH ANEESA – Maybe you should go running, or swimming, or maybe even walking. Girl, you are packing on some serious pounds. It wouldn’t hurt if you were actually in some sort of decent physical shape for this competition.
The elimination challenge tonight was called “Blind Leading The Blind”. It sounded simple enough at the beginning. A guy’s team and a girl’s team would both enter this huge maze at the same time while blindfolded. The fastest guys team would win the challenge and be safe from elimination, and the fastest girls team would win $1,000. Simple enough, right? Well you had to think something was up when you saw TJ holding a cute little dog. Each player would have an electric shock dog collar on their ankle and on their wrist. Every time they were going the correct way, the player would get shocked. So the more shocks, the better. Errrr Muh Gawwwwd!!!!

Other than listening to the screeching by the girls and Jonna crying, it was pretty boring. Jonna and Nanny should have just been thrown off the show for being 12 yr old little girls. Jonna literally was crying after getting shocked a few times. These two morons made it a grand total of 5 feet into the maze and were rightfully DQ’d after 30 minutes. Purely pathetic. The guy’s team that was the fastest was Johnny and Frank. As for who was the slowest, Ty and Leroy pulled up the rear. “Shockingly” the girls winners were Diem and Aneesa. Way to pull it together girls.
Back at the house, Johnny immediately injects himself into the girls conversation of who they should vote in. Paula says right off the bat that she’s going to vote for Knight and Preston. But Johnny gets ver adiment about wanting to keep them in the house as long as possible to keep one weak team around. He tells the girls that they should be voting the rookies Jordan and Marlon in. Frank makes his way into the convo too and that’s when I stopped paying attention to him. Jordan overhears this going on and decides to stand up for himself and Marlon. The cameras then cut to a kitchen scene and Jordan asks frank, “So how’s the campaigning going?”. I chuckled at that. Well played Jordan. As soon as this happened, I thought that although it’s not going to be a popular move, it was the right one. He got so far under Frank’s skin it was incredible. Frank went apeshit and started screaming everything possible at him. Frank is a ticking time bomb and Jordan has lit the fuse everybody.

We head to the elimination vote and it’s nearly unanimous. Marlon and Jordan get voted into the Jungle to face Ty and Leroy. Jordan is clearly upset by it and starts acting kinda childish by bitching and moaning about it. Frank starts on the warpath again when Jordan is having a nice quiet conversation about the topic. This time Jordan is attempting to walk away many times as Frank repeatedly keeps trying to get physical with him. I have to give Jordan props again here. Not just because he’s on my Rivals 2 Fantasy Team, but because it seems like he’s watched these shows before and actually has a clue what he’s doing. Johnny and Jordan have a talk after Jordan finally gets away from Frank. Johnny tells him basically just to sac up and deal with being a rookie. It’s time to pay your dues and get in the Jungle. Jordan looks like he takes Johnny’s advice to heart, especially after he’s complimented by Johnny as being part one of the strongest teams in the house.
While Jordan is taking this very seriously, Marlon is having some fun with it. Marlon starts chirping at Leroy in the house and outside. finally he gets Leroy to wrestle outside on the deck. It’s not much of a contest as Leroy easily wins the match.
After the wrestling match, there’s a short clip in the middle of the commercial break that shows Ty and Aneesa possibly hooking up. The camera man catches them going into a bedroom and throwing the covers over them. That’s really all I need for proof. Some solid points there for those two.
Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve got ourselves good old fashioned HEAD BANGER!!! #Rivals2

Jungle time! “Last Chance” is the name of the game. We’ve seen this game before. Derek & Robb vs. Dunbar & Tyrie was the matchup in week 1. This game is where players must run through a narrow hallway past another contestant to ring a bell. Both teams will have one offensive player and one defensive player. The offensive player who gets past the defensive players and rings the bell first in two out of three heats, wins the elimination. Ty and Jordan are designated as the offensive players while Marlon and Leroy will be smashing on defense. This might go down as one of the best Jungle eliminations ever. In the first heat, Marlon and Leroy explode into each other right off the bat and TY and Jordan aren’t far behind. Now before the Jungle started, Marlon and Jordan said something that caught my attention. They both mentioned this was just like “Oklahoma Drills”. For those who don’t know what that means, check out this video. Ty and Jordan hold off one another for a few seconds and then Jordan gets free. They both sprint to the bells and Jordan wins heat #1 by a split second. In heat #2, Marlon gets overpowered by Leroy and it was pretty much over in a hurry. Heat #3 is what will go down in The Challenge history books. Right off the whistle Leroy gets the best of Marlon again. He drives him back, not giving Jordan any room to get by. Ty comes through and drives Jordan back as well. Ty manages to wiggle through but Marlon grabs a hold of him and trips him up. At this point Ty is literally 3 feet from victory. Leroy has Jordan pinned against the Plexiglas and he’s trying as hard as he can to break free…and he does. Like a bat out of hell, Jordan sprints to the bell at the other side as Ty chokes AGAIN in the Jungle. DING. GAME OVER.
Ty should have no one to blame but himself. His body didn’t shut down on him this time. This time someone prevented him from winning because they wanted it more. The rookies now have everyone scared. What a win for Jordan and Marlon.
Back at the house, everyone seems pretty stunned. And there should be no surprise that now Frank has declared that he’s going to be let out of the cage. Johnny is NOT happy about his declaration one bit. It’s been pretty smooth sailing for Johnny once again, but Frank has to be the center of attention and is gonna do his best to become that. “Tread lightly Frank”.
