The Yankees were seriously considering signing the former Giants closer, but those negotiations came to an end when Wilson refused to shave his beard.
Brian Wilson’s agent told Brian Cashman that Wilson won’t shave his beard. “Cross him off the list,” Cashman said.

Wilson hasn’t been a significant contributor to an MLB team since 2011, and who knows how many other offers he would have received.
