Things look to be turning a sour turn for Washington Redskins’ head coach, Mike Shanahan.

As if the latest ESPN reporter wasn’t enough of a red flag, the fact that the Redskins are 3-10 and won’t have a first round draft pick pretty much sums up Shanahan’s season and state with the team.
In case you’ve missed it, ESPN reported on Sunday morning that Shanahan was prepared to quit last season because of a stormy relationship with management and that he cleaned out his office before the team’s playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Following a 45-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Shanahan refused to discuss the report with reporters.
“It’s not the right time or place to talk about my relationship with Dan Snyder,” Shanahan said after Sunday’s game. “It’s not the right time or place to talk about something that happened a year ago.”

The latest report leaves members of the Redskins’ organization wondering if this isn’t Shanahan’s way to get noticed for the Texans’ vacancy.
You know a relationship has turned from bad to worse when the team is wondering if the coach is trying to get fired.
Either way, expect something out of Washington sooner rather than later.
What do you think will happen? Will he quiet, survive for another season, or get fired before week 17?
