You take a suit jacket, applique letters and numbers on it like a jersey, and you’ve got a suisey. While I’ve been kicking around this idea for years (originally wanted a Scalabrine suisey), it wasn’t until internet sensation Donnie Does rocked the Larry Bird suisey in Asia that I finally had one made. Be sure to look in the bottom right corner of your screen as the Derrick Rose suisey makes it’s debut courtside at the Atlanta Hawks VS Chicago Bulls game tonight at 8:00PM EST.

I’ve had mixed reviews from friends regarding the suisey that range from “awesome” to “worst purchase you’ve ever made in the history of your life”. I figured D Rose has been wearing a suit to Bulls games for the better part of the last two seasons, and this just seemed appropriate.
While I’m a Knicks fan, I live in Chicago and go to several Bulls games every year. I want to show support for my city’s team, but feel that the only appropriate place for a 30 year old grown man to wear a jersey is the beach/pool (even though my girlfriend would rather I get rid of every jersey I own and sell them on eBay). I’m not going to wear a Bulls t-shirt to the game (especially not one of those awful 80′s womens t-shirt jerseys the NBA has been pushing), so a suisey it is.
