On October 5th, “Hank Is Evil: The Movie” will premiere to the world…and by the world I mean a few hundred people at the Bellmore Theatre in Bellmore, NY. This is a film that has dominated much of the last year of my life and now it is ready to be viewed by the masses.

So who is Hank and why should you care about him? Hank E. Valdooer (Yes, that’s his full name) has been terrorizing the internet for nearly six years. He first appeared in my last movie, a zombie spoof titled “Street Of The Dead”. Just before that film came out, a video appeared on Youtube called “The Life And Times Of Hank E. Valdooer”. It was basically a day in the life of Hank….

The video got mildly popular and it ultimately led the co-creator who also also plays Hank (Adam Gennari) and I to decide to make more episodes. We made twelve episodes in total over the course of four years and the legend of Hank grew…moderately. With episode 11 the title of the show changed to “Hank Is Evil” for legal and space saving reasons. Now less than two years later “Hank Is Evil” is a feature film, a seventy-five comedy fest that pits Hank E. Valdooer against the mayor of Peoria (Played by Les Degen) and a bunch of other slightly more terrible and unlikable people.

Hank is a turn of the century, Snidely Whiplash looking supervillain. He is based out of Peoria, IL and at the end of the day just wants to carve his name into the history books as the greatest villain who has ever lived. In order to do that in today’s world you must first be acknowledged by the city’s number one superhero who in this case is Captain Savior. Captain Savior is an alcohol chugging super powered douchebag who is happy to save the day as long as he still has time to catch the game or have sex with one of his many female fans. After months of back and forth, Hank finally got Captain Savior to acknowledge his existence and he was suddenly legitimized in the eyes of Peorians. To make him even more powerful Hank also became the leader of the Evil Society of Villains after the former leader; his ex-partner and longtime asshat Kommander Killsberg was mysteriously killed in an explosion. The film picks up roughly two years after these events have happened with Hank living the high life as Peoria’s number one villain. The happy (Evil) times come crashing down quickly as Hank gets a warning from The King Of Crime that every aspect of his life is about to come under attack. Soon after, Captain Savior leaves town under bizarre circumstances and Mayor McDigley hijacks the Evil Society Of Villains turning them into the Evil Society Of Law Abiding Citizens. They’re still kind of evil though. This all sends Hank into a paranoid induced frenzy as he tries to find out who it is who is working with the Mayor and trying to destroy his life. Hank is aided by his henchman, Larry. His neighbor Sharon. His therapist Dr. Papadopoulos, and his on again, off again best friend and gun aficionado Roger. Before Hank confronts the Mayor in the epic battle to end all epic battles he first accuses virtually all of his closest friends and allies of betraying him. As Hank uncovers more and more of the mystery he gets more and more confused as to why there is a mystery to solve in the first place.
