Whoever is sending these tweets for the @SportsNation twitter account needs to just stop, and log off. I get that someone is trying to drum up conversation, but we are way beyond the point of stupid. Here’s the latest gem:

Yes, Kentucky is the best team in college basketball. We all know this. If you are into March Madness betting, Kentucky is essentially an even money favorite to win the national title. But, come on Sports Nation. Enough of these corney, played out tweets. The video game meme is like 5 years old, and the “college team beating a pro team” thing is just flat-out dumb. The 1995-96 Chicago Bulls only lost 10 games all year to NBA TEAMS. You do realize that the Bulls team you are referencing had two of the top fifty players of all-time, along with the best rebounder of all-time, and one of the greatest coaches of all time, right? This is why fewer and fewer people take anything with the ESPN brand attached to it, seriously.
Many tweeters have responded to this nonsense already tonight.

So you get the point here.
Kentucky is leading West Virginia by 35 with about 8:30 to go in the second half. The Wildcats are thoroughly dominating a mediocre #5 seed, much like they did to the mediocre at best, SEC. It’s time to, as Aaron Rodgers once said, “R-E-L-A-X”, Sports Nation. Maybe you could have held off with those tweets until AFTER they won the national championship? I don’t know, maybe that’s just me?
