To my left we have Brad Keselowski, who is running triple duty this weekend at Kentucky Speedway, and to my right we have Joey Logano, who is hotter than the south during the summer this season in the Nationwide Series. Both are coming to Kentucky with impressive stats at the 1.5-mile oval; however, its Logano that has one the most races this season and at this track. Friday night will mark his 100th start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Will Logano get win number five of the last six races, or will another driver spoil all the fun?

Last year, Brad Keselowski saved just enough fuel to hold off fellow Sprint Cup Series drivers, Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick to win his first Nationwide Series race of the 2011 season and the 13th of his career. At one point of the race, Keselowski had a two second lead over Harvick, but ended up beating him to the finish line by 1.180 seconds.
Can you say holy points? Road courses are always the one track that many don’t want to see hurt a driver’s chance at winning the championship, but it seems that they actually helped. Elliott Sadler, the points leader, gained three points on his Richard Childress Racing teammate, Austin Dillon. Sadler did however lose four points to Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.. But don’t look now, Penske Racing’s Sam Hornish, Jr. is coming into the points conversation. He is currently 34 points out of the lead, and is making his Nationwide Series track debut at Kentucky where he has posted two wins during his IndyCar Series career.

My pick for this weekend’s Feed the Children 300 is Joey Logano. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver is on fire lately and with this being his 100th start, he will have the extra fire he needs to end up in victory lane.
