The Manscaping.com Perfect Package comes with everything you need to groom yourself properly. With the Perfect Package, you receive:
THE PLOW safety razor
LAWN MOWER electric hair trimmer
CROP CLEANSER moisturizing hair and body wash
CROP PRESERVER all-in-one deodorant, antiperspirant and moisturizer
CROP REVIVER body toner and refresher
MAGIC MAT to catch trimmings and easy disposal
THE SHED travel bag
THE SHEARS nail kit
Aside from some floss, a toothbrush, and some toothpaste, this kit comes with everything you need as a man to get yourself together in the morning. I was impressed with the quality of “The Plow” and the “Lawn Mower”. These grooming tools are made from high quality materials and will last a long time. “The Shears” nail kit was also solid. The “Crop Cleanser” hair and body wash smelled great, as did the “Crop Preserver” and “Crop Reviver”. My only knock on the Perfect Package was the bag it came it. It had a cheap feel and look to it. I would have prefered a bag with less sheen and maybe a more flat leather look and feel as opposed to the texture this one had. It felt like a weird deflated football. Tom Brady would love it.
At $99 you’re making a commitment to bettering your grooming habits. It may seem pricey, but if you parted the bag out and bought each item individually, you’re going to end up paying more. So if you want to get yourself right and make your woman (or man, TSB doesn’t discriminate) happy, head over to Manscaped.com and pick up one for yourself. They even offer just the “Nuts & Bolts” if you only want the Lawn Mower and Crop Preserver.
FULL REVIEW:
The Perfect Package comes packaged perfectly. Everything is factory sealed and pretty much ready to use out of the box. Let’s take a closer look at each item included:
The Plow
This is a high-quality single blade safety razor. Manscaped includes a carrying case and a couple of razor blades to get you started. I’ve used several safety razors and this one felt the most high quality that I’ve used.
Overall: A
The Lawnmower
Small, compact, easy to use, and comes with batteries. Not much more you could want from a manscaper. This is the first ball trimmer I’ve used that doesn’t look like a toy. The matte black is a perfect look. This is clearly for a man, and your kid won’t this it’s a hot-wheels car. I found the guard a little difficult to adjust and take off, but that’s a good thing as you know it’s not going to slip and give your man-bush a high-top fade. This is my new go-to man-bush-wacker.
Overall: A+
Crop Cleanser
While I didn’t use the crop cleanser on my hair, I did use it extensively as a body wash. It has a great scent to it. Not overpowering, just clean and manly. My wife really liked it, so that’s a plus. Individually, though, Manscaped charges $19.99 for an 8oz bottle of this stuff. I like how I smell when I use it, but I don’t think I’ll be springing for the refills.

Crop Preserver
Another $19.99 luxury, the Crop Preserver is a solid product. Here’s the description from Manscaped.com:
Our uniquely formulated, all-in-one deodorant, antiperspirant and moisturizer was designed specifically for ‘below deck’ and highly active areas. This residue- and oil-free, anti-chafing liquid talcum gel features ingredients that preserve the skin’s essential barrier, promote antibacterial protection, and maintain all-day freshness. Apply before getting dressed.
So I’ve never applied something to my balls before as this is intended, but I gotta admit it felt pretty good. I didn’t have any chafing issues, and my sack stayed dryer than if I hadn’t used it. I don’t think I’ll be dropping $19.99 on a refill for this one any time soon, though.

Crop Reviver
This one perplexed me. Here’s the description on Manscaped.com:
Our revolutionary formulated, spray-on body toner and spritzer has been designed especially for highly sensitive and high friction areas of the body. It features aloe and witch hazel extracts for anti-inflammatory, anti-burn protection, and optimum pH levels for dryness and hydration control
- High performance, friction control
- Soothing and refreshing antiperspirant
- Essential skincare herbal extracts
- 2 oz travel size
- Works with all Manscaped Refining Products™
My junk rarely needs “reviving”. At first I thought maybe this is some sort of topical Viagra alternative, but I guess its intended use is basically a deodorant/cologne type thing for your dong. My wife was a big fan of the scent. She spritzed it in the air and smelled it, you perverts. At $17.99 this is another manscaping luxury.
Overall: B+
Magic Mat
The idea is genius. Absolutely genius. But newspapers are pretty much free nowadays, and Manscaped sells 3 of these for $4. Literally 3 pieces of newspaper sized paper for $4. They deserve a ton of credit for the idea, because if you’re shaving your nuts over a garbage bin or the toilet, you’re gonna get hair everywhere. Shave in the shower and you’ll clog your drain. This is a perfect solution. Spread a piece of newspaper on the ground and go nuts.
Overall: A+ for the idea, F for charging $4 for 3 pieces of newspaper.
The Shed
I’m not sure if they were going for a stingray leather or some sort of suede football type texture, but I’m just not a fan of how this shiny bag looks and feels. I have a cheap nylon travel bag that I got for a couple of bucks that looks great. This guy, not so much. It does seem to be durable and holds all your stuff in one place, so for its utility it gets top marks. I just don’t like the look of this thing. At least it’s “free” in the Perfect Package, but at $39.99 Manscaped could do better.
Overall: C
The Shears
The Shear includes:
- safety scissors
- nail clippers
- tweezers
- ear pick
- nail refining file
The quality of the case is excellent. I wish The Shed was made the same way. The tools are also good quality. Usually in these type of kits you get a real shitty nail clipper. This one is solid. I still prefer my Lacross clipper to this one, but this is definitely the 2nd best nail clipper I own. The other tools are very solid.
Overall: A
Conclusion
If you’re a man and you don’t own any of these products, buy the $99 Perfect Package kit and thank me later. If all you really need is a solid ball trimmer, go with the Nuts and Bolts for half the price. You don’t get as many goodies, but you get an extremely high quality essential manscaping item. Head over to Manscaped.com and check ’em out.
