No, Silent Bob isn’t the Kevin Smith making noise this week (although ironic how he was the special guest on AMC’s Talking Dead Sunday night). Detroit running back Kevin Smith RB DET went OFF in Week 11 for 201 total yards and 3 TDs. He leads off this week’s fantasy studs.

Week 11 Fantasy Studs
1. Silent Bob Kevin Smith RB DET 201 total yards/4 rec/3 TDs, should be this week’s top waiver-wire pickup

2. Matthew Stafford QB DET 335 passing/5 TDs/0 INTs, spread the ball out and had a field day
3. Ray Rice RB BAL 147 total yards/2 TDs/5 rec, my fantasy MVP for his consistency

4. Nate Washington WR TEN 9 rec/115 yards/2 TDs
5. Jordy Nelson WR GB 6 rec/123 yards/2 TDs, how can you not love this guy?
6. Vincent Jackson WR SD 7 rec/165 yards/1 TD, when he has big games he really brings it
7. Rob Gronkowski NE TE 4 rec/96 yards/2 TDs and the game isn’t even over yet
8. Torrey Smith WR BAL 6 rec/165 yards/1 TD, proven to be a very solid mid-season waiver pick-up
9. Victor Cruz WR NYG 6 rec/128 yards/1 TD, fantasy owners don’t want Manningham WR NYG to ever get healthy
10. Chris Ogbonnaya RB CLE 134 total yards/1 TD, 2 solid games in a row for Hillis RB CLE replacement
There weren’t a ton of huge performances but the top 10 were absolute studs. Some fantasy teams piled up well over 100 points while others were around the 80 point mark. With Schaub QB HOU out for the season and Matt Lienart QB HOU at the helm, look for Arian Foster RB HOU to get 30 touches in a monster game in Week 12. Before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s take a look at the guys that weren’t so hot in Week 11.
Week 11 Fantasy Duds
1. John Skelton QB ARI 99 passing/0 TDs/3 INTs
2. Willis McGahee RB DEN 18 total yards/0 TDs/1 FL
3. Greg Jennings WR GB 2 rec/6 yards/0 TDs, taking a back seat to Jordy Nelson WR GB lately
4. Shonn Greene RB NYJ 14 total yards/0 TDs, Joe McKnight RB NYJ shined
5. Denarius Moore WR OAK 1 rec/14 yards/0 TDs, after a few big games Moore puts up a stinker
6. Brandon Jacobs RB NYG 33 total yards/0 TDs, with Bradshaw RB NYG out and Ware RB NYG concussed, you’d expect more
7. Chris Johnson RB TEN 28 total yards/0 TDs, not playing like a guy deserving of that big contract
8. Matt Hasselbeck QB TEN 127 passing/0 TDs/1 INT, backup Locker QB TEN threw the TDs for the Titans on Sunday
9. Maurice Morris RB DET 37 total yards/0 TDs, Smith RB DET stole the show
10. Ryan Mathews RB SD 51 total yards/0 TDs/1 FL, when Tolbert RB SD is healthy you can’t count on anything more than yardage from Mathews
There were several injuries this week that result in must-add and must-drops, here’s the cream of the crop:
Must Add: Kevin Smith RB DET, Toby Gerhart RB MIN (high ankle sprain for AP)
Must Drop: Jay Cutler QB CHI (broken thumb, out for the season), BUF DST (after a great start the wagons are no longer circling. Fred Jackson injured his calf but should be OK)
Keep an Eye On: Jerome Simpson WR CIN, Caleb Hanie QB CHI, Joe McKnight RB NYJ, CJ Spiller RB BUF (must add if Jackson misses time)
BUY: Ray Rice RB BAL, Matthew Stafford QB DET, Jordy Nelson WR GB, Rob Gronkowski TE NE, Cam Newton QB CAR (fantasy stats don’t always bring Ws), Aaron Rodgers QB GB
SELL: Ryan Fitzpatrick QB BUF, Stevie Johnson WR BUF, DeSean Jackson WR PHI (baaad attitude problem, cost himself a 50 yard rec with a taunting penalty), Shonn Greene RB NYJ
HOLD: Chris Ogbonnaya RB CLE, Kevin Smith RB DET, Greg Jennings WR GB, Fred Jackson RB BUF
That’s the wrap-up for Week 11. You have to be a real die-hard football fan to watch the rest of this New England vs KC game. It is downright brutal. I wonder if KC wishes they could go back to the games they won and throw them in order to get back in to the Suck-for-Luck sweepstakes… til next week folks good luck as your fantasy regular seasons come down to the stretch. If you don’t have at least 5 wins, consider your season over and start building towards next year. That means trading for keepers with people in contention even if it means giving up more than you think is fair. I’ll leave you with a list of guys you should be trying to trade for (comprised of players drafted late/undrafted who blew up this year, hence making them stellar keeper options in most formats)
1. Cam Newton QB CAR
2. Fred Jackson RB BUF
3. Mathew Stafford QB DET
4. Rob Gronkowski TE NE
5. Jimmy Graham TE NO
6. Jordy Nelson WR GB
7. Steve Smith WR CAR
8. Victor Cruz WR NYG
9. AJ Green WR CIN
10. DeMarco Murray RB DAL
