Atlanta Motor Speedway August 31-September 2 TV Schedule

From the “World’s Fastest Half-Mile” of Bristol Motor Speedway, to the 1.54-mile quad oval track of Atlanta Motor Speedway. This is the site of NASCAR’s next stop in the 2012 tour. All three series will compete this weekend for what should hopefully be some great racing. What a perfect way to enjoy Labor Day, and the unofficial end of summer. Last year, weather was the name of the game for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. In a rare Tuesday race, Jeff Gordon battled his Hendrick Motorsports teammate, Jimmie Johnson, to capture win No. 85. A win this weekend by any of the HMS drivers would match the Wood Brothers’ track record of 12 wins at AMS. Cool stat huh?
