Today Peyton and Eli Manning had their latest DirecTV marketing masterpiece released. Titled “F.O.Y.P.”or “Football On Your Phone”, is just fantastic for a number of reasons.
Peyton continues to show that he has more talent that just on the football field. He has made it clear that he has some solid acting skills and does not look goofy or awkward in front of the camera. He seems natural when in character and nothing looks forced. I wish I could say the same about Eli, who at 32 years old, still can not enunciate any words that are more than one syllable. His rapping is sometimes difficult to understand and his motions are very uncomfortable looking. The need for Archie to be involved in the video kinda kills the flow towards the end. They could have just given Peyton an extra 10 seconds of face time. Who wants to see 70-year-old Archie anyway?
