This is a classic “David versus Goliath” fight, and Aldo is the heavy favorite. Aldo comes into this fight with a 22-1 career record, while the Korean Zombie has a 13-3 career record.
Will Sung Jung be able to pull off one of the biggest upsets in UFC history, or will Aldo take care of business and retain his belt?

Jose Aldo is an absolute beast. He can stand up and strike with his opponents, he can take them to the ground and out grapple them, and he is well versed in fighting in the clinch.

The Korean Zombie isn’t a pushover though and loves to get in back and forth brawls. He is one of the more entertaining fighters the UFC has to offer right now. Of his 13 wins, 8 have come via submission.
On their feet, Aldo has the clear advantage. He is quicker and more technically sound than Sung Jung. Aldo has 13 knockout victories on his resume, and will definitely be looking to add a 14th tonight.
Sung Jung likes to throw strikes from all angles, and this is good for him offensively, but will leave him vulnerable to counter strikes.
The only loss of Aldo’s career came via submission, so if Sung Jung can get him to the ground, he’ll look to capitalize on submission attempt he can get.
Prediction
At the end of the day, Aldo is a superior fighter than Sung Jung. The Korean Zombie loves to move in and throw strikes, and that plays right into Aldo’s game. Look for Aldo to pummel Sung Jung early and often, and for this fight to be over quick.
