Reactions:
After the past few Raws have been in cruise control, tonight’s Raw was awesome with so many returns and some great wrestling and storyline advancement.
The real life storyline of WWE’s stock and the company losing money has led to full damage control and back to shoving Cena down our throats. First winning the title last night and then the announcement of the WWE 2k15 cover.

I can’t say I really blame WWE, but at some point they’re going to need to step out of their comfort zone because Cena isn’t going to be there forever. The Fatal Four Way announcement for Battleground of Cena vs. Reigns vs. Orton vs. Kane is a decent main event for a filler pay per view, but I expect Cena to easily cruise into Summerslam.
Speaking of WWE being concerned about money, they must be desperate with that cringeworthy plug of Twisted Tea with Adam Rose and Santino.
I’m glad that Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter are finally feuding with Rusev and Lana. It makes too much sense for someone with an American gimmick to feud with someone with a Russian gimmick. The crowd seemed to love the Swagger face turn and it should be an easy transition.
Tonight’s Bo Dallas segment with the moment of silence seemed like kind of a waste considering how hot he’s been lately, that’s not his fault.
How about Kofi Kingston with what may be the first ever win during a commercial break? Does that even count as a push or getting over?
The difference between the Total Divas and the Non-Total Divas becomes more and more apparent every week. The Funkadactyls can’t even break up as a tag team correctly.
Bad News for Barrett as he’s stripped of the title and a battle royal match for the vacant Intercontinental Title is announced for Battleground.
Poor Damien Sandow.
WWE hyping up the return of a former WWE champion who’s a multimedia star and revealing the Miz was such a typical WWE thing to do…which made Chris Jericho’s return even more awesome. I hope this leads to more of a Chris Jericho-Bray Wyatt feud than just a one-and-done type situation for Jericho. It’s just unfortunate that Chris Jericho is going to have to be used to put Bray Wyatt over when it could’ve been John Cena used to put him over. Then again, Chris Jericho is the best in the world at what he does.
I may be in the minority, but I think the Summer Rae – Layla – Fandango love triangle is a much better storyline than the Funkadactyls breaking up storyline. Dolph Ziggler being used in any storyline is a step up for him and something the crowd clearly wants.
AJ returning and winning the Divas title wasn’t very good news for her speculated baby fetus. Dirtsheets gonna dirtsheet. It sucks that Paige couldn’t had more of a stronger run as champion, but I’m sure she’s not complaining about winning the title in her first match and keeping the title warm for AJ while she took her vacation.
WWE always does a great job of teasing the cash in. I was convinced that Rollins was going to cash in on Cena after the match even though I knew in the back of my mind I knew he wouldn’t because the Battleground main event was already set.
A nice staredown at the end of Raw between Reigns and Triple H that should lead to their eventual Summerslam matchup.
