Opening Segment and Miz vs Ciampa
Seth Rollins opened the Raw, and the crowd was as electric as usual on his entrance. Before he could speak any word, Finn Balor attacked Rollins from behind. He destroyed Seth Rollins with three Coup de Grace moves. After this, the Miz entered the ring and claimed that he would answer The Visionary’s open challenge today, but Finn Balor took him away. Tommaso Ciampa made his long-awaited return to good pop. He attacked Miz, and the match started. It was Ciampa all over Miz and finished him off with Fairytale Ending.
Winner: Ciampa

Finn Balor’s attack on Seth Rollins was great to put some heat on their title match at Money in the Bank. Finn looked full of a badass while doing it. Ciampa made a strong return in this match. The Miz was a perfect wrestler to put over any returning superstar. He sold well for Ciampa and made him look good. It will be interesting to see if WWE will stretch this rivalry or if Ciampa will find someone else as his opponent in the future.
Kayden and Katana vs Deville and Green
Before the match, Judgment Day members were out for a short promo, revealing what they plan to do in the upcoming Pay Per View. The women’s tag team match was not long. It was a short and quick match where Kayden and Katana took the victory with their double-team maneuver.
Winner: Kayden and Katana
Grade C
Analysis
The promo of Judgment Day was nothing new because they often give these kinds of promos. The consistency of getting boos by Dominik Mysterio is the same from day 1. WWE did nothing for Deville and Green because they are consistently losing matches. Both are established stars, so WWE must give them some respect and stop these squash matches.
Indus Sher vs Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin
WWE destroyed all the momentum of Benjamin and Alexander in the past. Alexander showed some offense and used a few double-team moves over Shanky. But Veer destroyed both Benjamin and Alexander. Veer bulldozed Benjamin for victory.
Winner: Indus Sher
Grade C
Analysis
Indus Sher is a new team, and WWE must give them some tough competition to get them over the crowd. Jinder Mahal is a former World Champion, but WWE used him as a manager for a tag team. What a shame!
Logan Paul Announced his Inclusion in Money in the Bank Match
Logan Paul returned to WWE in his hometown Cleveland. He got some cheap heat by describing how he left Cleveland to pursue his dream. He announced that he would be a contestant in the Money in the Bank match. Ricochet entered the arena first, and then all other Money in the Bank participants, including Shinsuke Nakamura, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, and Butch, to put over their case for the title shot. Butch came and punched Paul in the face, and then a brawl broke out in the ring. Paul took the Butch out of the ring with a big right hand and stood tall on the ladder.
Garde B
Analysis
Logan Paul is a good mic worker, so it was nothing new for the Youtuber. He has proved his wrestling skills in the previous matches, so he is a welcome addition to the Money in the Bank match. LA Knight has great crowd support behind him, so WWE should push him soon. The Butch part was significant in this segment as he is the unhinged character who starts to fight anywhere with anybody.
Matt Riddle vs Ludwig Kaiser
The Original Bro will challenge The Ring General Gunther for the Intercontinental title in the future. But he faced Kaiser on Monday Night Raw. Both competitors showed excellent wrestling skills throughout the match. They both use different moves and strikes to keep the crowd alive. Riddle ends up getting the victory with Bro Derek.
Winner: Matt Riddle
Grade B+
Analysis
Riddle and Kaiser are brilliant wrestlers pushing each other to the limits. Gunther and Kaiser attacked Riddle after the match and injured his leg to avenge the injury of their partner Vinci. The result will be a great match between Riddle and Gunther. Maybe a return from Randy Orton is also in the plans.
Alpha Academy vs Viking Raiders
Otis and Gable faced Erik and Ivar once again this week. Maxxine Dupri and Valhalla were there to support their teams. Maxxine once again showed some skills in wrestling, which she learned from Chad Gable. All these four superstars are capable wrestlers, but WWE did not give them a good story or run. Viking Raiders won the match after a distraction by Maxxine and Valhalla.
Winner: The Viking Raiders
Grade C-
Analysis
Maxxine and Valhalla can have a separate match. However, WWE often misused all these competitors in different storylines, and nothing changed here. Otis is still over with the crowd, and the same goes for Chad Gable. But, they are not given a proper run. Similarly, Erik and Ivar can dominate the tag team division, but they are getting victories by distractions.
Raquel Rodriguez vs Trish Stratus Money in the Bank Qualification Match
Ripley and Natalya had a match that was never started. Rhea Ripley attacked Nattie before the match and rag-dolled her around the ring. Trish Stratus and Raquel started off the match with some nice exchanges. Zoey Stark was there to support her mentor Stratus. Raquel had a dominating performance in the match. Becky Lynch entered the arena to attack Zoey Stark. Trish Stratus left the ring to fight Becky Lynch, who hit her to cause a disqualification. The finish allows Trish Stratus to participate in the Money in the Bank Match.
Winner: Trish Stratus
Grade C+
Analysis
WWE did not use its senior superstars well. Natalya did not deserve the kind of treatment WWE gave her. However, Rhea Ripley must have a similar kind of dominance, but not at the expense of a legend like Nattie. The match was not as good as expected, but the story development was great. Raquel can challenge Ripley in the future after the backstage altercation earlier. On the other side, Becky, Stark, and Stark’s story will continue.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Bronson Reed
Nakamura and Bronson Reed clashed to show their supremacy. Nakamura was usually great working with bigger guys. Bronson Reed was too big to handle for the King of Strong Style. Ricochet came to the ringside to watch the match, distracted Nakamura, and gave the upper hand to Reed. Reed took the victory by Tsunami.
Winner: Bronson Reed
Grade C+
Analysis
It was a good story for all these superstars involved in it. All three stars did not get notable stories in the last three or four years. It could end up making one of these the upper mid-card talent. WWE Universe will welcome a triple threat at Summerslam.
The Judgment Day vs Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens
Cody found two partners in Sami and KO to face Judgment Day. Balor and Cody started the match and hit each other with takedowns and a few power moves. All these superstars are top-level talents who gave a great goodbye to the Cleveland crowd. Ripley was there to provide necessary distractions and save his Dom Dom. Cody got the victory for his team with a Cross Rhodes on Damien Priest.
Winner: Cody, Sami, and Owens
Grade A
Analysis
It was a great match, with all three superstars showing their skills. The Judgment Day members had important matches on Money in the Bank Pay Per View, which made it difficult to decide if they would win or lose. WWE must give them one or two team victories to establish them as the top threat on Raw. Overall, it was a good episode of WWE Raw.
