The Tribal Court
SmackDown kicked off with the trial of The Tribal Chief in the Tribal Court. The Usos came down and discussed what happened in Money in the Bank. They said that people told them Roman was unbeatable, but they beat him. Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa enter the arena. Heyman labels himself as the defense for The Tribal Chief. The Usos tells Heyman to shut down. Heyman says only one person in WWE can shut him down. Solo grabs the mic from Heyman and throws it onto the mat.
Roman Reigns makes his way into the ring. The crowd chanted, “You got pinned” to Reigns, which was pretty sick. Reigns told Madison Square Garden to acknowledge him. The US had a compilation video of Roman Reigns mistreating them. he defended himself by saying he is not a person like that. He said that he did it for his cousins. He said that he was done doing The Tribal Chief’s duties. Roman says Jey can have the Title if he wants. He places his lei around Jey’s neck. He bends to his knees in front of Jey, crying. And then there was a twist. A low blow by Reigns. A Samoan Spike by Sikoa to Jimmy and a Spinning Solo to Jey. Roman delivered a Superman Punch to Jimmy. The action went outside the ring, where Solo tied Jey to the rope forcing him to watch the assault on Jimmy. Roman hits Jimmy with the Title and the stairs. Jey breaks himself free only to be laid out by Sikoa with a Samoan Spike. Then Sikoa hits a frog splash on Jimmy from the barricade, crashing through the announcer’s desk. In the end, Roman and the company stand tall.

Analysis:-
It was an amazing segment and was pure cinema. Roman Reigns is a mastermind; we saw that in this segment. There was more interesting stuff with The Bloodline storyline in the main event, and we will talk about that later.
Austin Theory vs. Sheamus
Austin Theory defended his United States Championship against The Celtic Warrior Sheamus. It was a good wrestling match, as expected from these two. Sheamus got early control of the match after an Irish Curse Backbreaker. Theory tried the Beats of The Bodhran but was stopped. A knee from the top rope gets Sheamus a near fall. A modified sit-out powerbomb from Theory was incredible. Theory escaped the Celtic Cross. Sheamus applied the Cloverleaf hold, but Pretty Deadly interfered. Elton Prince became the victim of Ten Beats of Bodhran. The Brawling Brutes arrived to even the odds. In the end, Kit Wilson distracts Sheamus on the apron allowing Theory to roll up and get a win.
Winner: Austin Theory
Grade: B
Analysis:-
Austin Theory has lost the limelight he had once. A big change is needed for him soon. On the other hand, Sheamus is doing great work. It looks like Sheamus will once again face Theory for the Title, maybe at SummerSlam.
Grayson Waller Effect with Edge
Edge was the guest on the Grayson Waller Effect. Edge came out with a great crowd reaction. He talks about his 25th anniversary in WWE. He talks about some of his memories in Madison Square Garden. During the segment, Waller mentioned Edge’s big announcement, to which the Rated R-Superstar seemed confused. Grayson Waller himself announced that Edge is retiring. He urges the crowd to thank Edge and stand up to their feet. Edge tells him he is not retiring, and a match is set up between the two for later tonight.
Grade: C
Analysis:-
The Grayson Waller Effect always comes out as an entertaining segment. WWE sees him as an upcoming star as he has already shared the ring with the likes of Logan Paul, John Cena, and Edge.
AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross
Next up was a one-on-one match between AJ Styles and Karrion Kross. AJ came alongside Michin to even things as Kross had Scarlett on his side. Kross lays out Styles with a Clothesline as the bell rings. As he was going for Kross Jacket, Styles hit a Pele Kick. Styles went for Phenomenal Forearm. Scarlett tried to interfere but was laid out by Michin. In the end, a Phenomenal Forearm gets the job done for Styles.
Winner: AJ Styles
Grade: C
Analysis:-
Karin Kross and Scarlett have one of the best entrances currently. However, WWE cut short their entrance, referring to how WWE has given up on the former NXT Champion. On the other hand, The Phenomenal One, AJ Styles, needs a big feud for the Biggest Party of the Summer, SummerSlam.
Nearly a Cash-In
Asuka enters the ring and claims that no one is ready for her. Bianca Belair rushed to the ring, and a brawl broke out. Charlotte Flair got involved also. As Flair and Belair brawl out of the ring, Bayley and Iyo Sky attack Asuka with the briefcase. Bayley hits a Rose-Plant on Asuka on the briefcase. Iyo Sky hits a moonsault. Bianca and Charlotte prevented the cash-in attempt.
Grade: C
Analysis:-
It is a good move by WWE to keep Sky chasing the perfect moment to cash in. An interesting three-way feud is building between Asuka, Charlotte, and Bianca, with Sky always involved in the mix.
Edge vs. Grayson Waller
Edge returned to action against Grayson Waller. It was the first televised match of Waller on the main roster. Edge dominated early on in the match. A Fallaway Slam from Edge always looks good. After the break, Waller made a comeback with a DDT from the middle rope. Waller takes a flight from the top rope, but Edge gets his knees up, followed by a Flapjack and a powerbomb. Edge delivers a splash from the top rope. Grayson Waller hits an Unprettier on Edge. Edge hits an elevated DDT. Waller escapes the spear once. The ending sequence was brilliant when Waller rolled through ropes into the ring, where Edge spears him in (kind of) midair to get the win.
Winner: Edge
Grade: B+
Analysis:-
Edge is back and looking good in the ring. It seems like a mega-match is waiting for him at SummerSlam. On the other hand, Grayson Waller is a credible entertainer.
Jey Uso challenges Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns arrives in the ring and tells the New York fans to acknowledge him. Jey Uso enters from the fans’ stands. Solo goes to get him, but Jey beats him down. Jey Uso then grabs a chair, and attacks Reigns in the ring. A superkick laid out Sikoa. In the meantime, Reigns slid out of the ring without the Title. Jey took the Title and the microphone and challenged Reigns to a one-on-one match.
Grade: A
Analysis:-
The Bloodline story is getting more interesting with every segment. Jey dared Reigns to accept the challenge, and the match will most likely take place at SummerSlam.
