Mo Sista Kate Upton Joins Team Gillette In Support Of Movember

Happy Movember, Mo-Bros and Mo-Sisters!

October has come and gone. The leaves are changing, pumpkin beers are pouring, the Red Sox have won the World Series, and everybody’s beard is a bit too long from Octobeard! It’s time for you or your loved one to get a hot shave BUT… ask the barber to leave some love atop your lip (get your mind out of the gutter).

In 2003, the Movember movement was born and has been growing since. In 2012 alone, Movember raised over 10 million dollars for men’s health research (testicular cancer, prostate cancer) and plenty of awareness. It has become popular all over the world and has gained celebrity support as well. Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson from NBC’s Parks and Recreation) has become a spokesperson of sorts, as he has the most kick-ass mustache on Primetime TV.

I hope your plane crashes!

Wednesday, the infamous Mets twitter psychopath @Danxtanna (I will refrain from using his real name since enough media outlets have already leaked it) was arrested for making threats against the Mets, their players, and their stadium.   Read the rest of this entry »

Hasn’t Kanye West learned to proofread his tweets? After Jimmy Kimmel parodied his recent interview with BBC 1, Kanye went absolutely bonkers. Kimmel didn’t really make fun of him as much as he just repeated what he said, because it was pretty hysterical on its own. Below is one of the pictures tweeted by Kanye, and check out the full video and tweets after the jump.

GQ-Photoshoot-with-Jimmy-Fallon-justin-timberlake-26883943-627-438Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon know just how #ridiculous the hashtag frenzy has become.

The two decided have come out with a Public Service Announcement(PSA) in the overuse of them.

They’ve taken a normal conversation and littered it with a taxonomical phrases following that little character you get by pressing shift 3 or tapping 123 and then #+= or just holding down the S key. Sometimes Android users have it so much easier.

JR SMith

The New York Knicks J.R. Smith is only trailing Lamar Odom in the race for the NBA’s worst off-season.  Today is 9/11 and many athletes are posting things to show their respect.  But, this guy is such a knucklehead it’s not even funny.  The dude is obsessed with his Instagram account like so many other athletes.  But when idiots like him try to actually say something nice, this is what happens..

Check it out after the jump.

DwightHowardTweet

According to unnamed sources with knowledge of the negotiations and an unlimited data plan so they are able to look at multiple  social media platforms on their smart phone, says that the D-12 Diva, aka Dwight Howard,  has chosen to sign as a free agent with the Houston Rockets.

If you could have seen (which many of you did) the nonsense on Twitter tonight from all of these so-called “insiders”, it would have made you do this:

Maybe some of you did?  Actually, I hope you all did.

MLB Fan Cave Spoof

We take a break from my usual ranting and kvetching about the Mets and other sports related debacles to bring you my newest sketch video which lampoons the MLB  Fan Cave.  If you’re unfamiliar with it then check out this site http://mlb.mlb.com/fancave/  In the actual MLB fan cave between 10-15 fans are chosen to spend the year watching games and hanging out with players but for the purposes of this video there is only one lucky or not so lucky fan who is chosen.  Enjoy!

I’ve been far too depressed about the Knicks’ loss to the Pacers to talk about actual sports or regular pop culture stuff that I’m usually used to writing about so I decided to flip the script a little bit here. How? Oh, why not make fun of the crazy things that famous people wore to the Met Gala? What’s the Met Gala you ask? It’s the annual opening of the fashion exhibit in the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume institute. So a lot of famous people who take themselves too seriously like to wear ridiculous stuff to get themselves photographed. I decided to start with Victor Cruz up top because the man just knows how to keep it classy. Everyone after that picture has lost their goddamn minds. All photos were stolen from New York Magazine’s website. Let’s take a gander, shall we? Read the rest of this entry »
