NASCAR has announced penalties following the NRA 500 from Texas Motor Speedway. We already knew Penske Racing was going to be penalized, but it looks like another car was also penalized.

The No. 56 of Martin Truex, Jr. was found to be in violation of Sections 12-1(actions detrimental to stock car racing); 12-4J(any determination by NASCAR officials that the race equipment used in the event does not conform to NASCAR rules); and 20-12.8.1B( the car failed to meet the minimum front car heights during post-race inspection. Due to the penalties, Chad Johnson, crew chief for the No. 56, was fined $25,000 and placed on NASCAR probation until June 5th, while Martin Truex, Jr and Michael Waltrip Racing were docked six championship driver and owner points respectfully.

Also penalties for the No. 2 and No. 22 for Penske Racing were also announced today. Read the rest of this entry »

Why did I name this week’s recap “Hide your Wife, Hide Your Kids”? When two characters are almost raped (one of them a male), then everyone is on the show is on rape notice. I’m going to keep this week’s recap short and sweet so let’s just get to it. Read the rest of this entry »

Oh, hold the hell up. There were no boobs or kills in this episode? Hopefully, this doesn’t last too long but I love me some breasts and death. But hey! At least, they gave us gay and fart jokes! And magic! If there wasn’t a sword fight at the end of the episode, I would’ve sworn that this was an episode of Arrested Development. Read the rest of this entry »

“Bow down to the paid one.”

This 2013 NFL off-season has shaken up the league in a hurry. As always, some teams more active than others, but some mediocre teams have transformed into serious contenders. Teams continue to unload cash prior to the draft in hope of making a run for the Lombardi. Who has made the biggest splash in Free Agency? See for yourself.

Game of Thrones is back and with it comes HBO’s special brand of drama in the form of dragons, duels, and undead people. In the season premiere, lots of Stocktoning is going on (table setting) which means…not a lot of people die unfortunately. C’mon HBO! What’s the point of having this show on premium cable if you’re not going to give us blood and death! Oh yeah, you guys are cool with showing boobs so there was that. Ahhhhh, HBO. I’m glad you didn’t forget about my needs as a viewer.  Read the rest of this entry »

It is well known that the 2013 draft is not full of top of the line talent. There is no Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III at the QB position, there are no can’t miss RB prospects like Trent Richardson or Doug Martin, and every defensive player has at least one major concern. That being said, I think the 2013 NFL draft is very deep, and see some serious value in the later rounds. I am going to write a few of these pieces leading up to the draft, showcasing some guys who I think have good potential to be draft day steal.

Noah ranks the top 25 fast food restaurants, starting with number 25…

25. Miami Subs – you have never eaten here . . . I know that, because if you have you would be in coma or 6 feet under. In terms food quality, taste, appearance, ambiance, etc. hobos in New York City eat better.

24. Roy Rogers – this once proud franchise is now a smoldering mess that lives in NJ Turnpike rest stops. The only good thing about eating here is that they still serve their french fries out of a paper gun holster . . . just like the real Roy Rogers used to eat his fries. Read the rest of this entry »
