The Chicago Blackhawks have won the Stanley Cup with the most improbable final moments in Stanley Cup history.  The Boston Bruins were leading 2-1 with 1:16 left in the third period of game 6, when the improbable happened.  Brian Bickel tied the game up for the Blackhawks and then Dave Bolland put them ahead 17 seconds later.

What a phenomenal game and series this was.  Congrats to the Chicago Blackhawks for winning their second Stanley Cup in the last four years. Check out the videos of the fantastic finish after the jump.

And here’s the cup clincher…just 17 seconds later

I’d like to give a special thank you to the NHL for making this season one of the best I can remember. Maybe it was that condensed schedule, or maybe it was just all of the phenomenal athletes? But whatever it was, keep on doing it.

Winning goal was made by Dave Bolland, not Dereck.

    It was fixed, thank you.

Kind of like what the veterinarian did to yo.

    “you”, not “yo”.

Not sure where “yo” are going with that one, but congrats to the Blackhawks on their Stanley Cup victory.

Chicago thanks Boychuk for being the cheap shot, stiff that he is and allowing Bolland to stuff in the rebound. No one deserves to be the goat more. Congrats. Chicago Blackhawk Hockey

There’s always that crap around the net and the refs all get wrapped up in puck watching. To be honest though, Boychuck had a fantastic playoffs. Not too many defenseman score 6 goals per year, let alone in the playoffs.
