Tony Romo out for rest of season

The starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, Tony Romo, is out the rest of the season after suffering a back injury.  Head coach Jason Garret denies that Romo is out, but a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Romo’s season is over. This injury was suffered during the Cowboys game yesterday against the Washington Redskins. This injury obviously hurts the Cowboys chances of making the playoffs.
They play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at 8:30pm, the winner is crowned champion of the NFC East. Even though Romo has gone under much scrutiny this season, he has still played well. He finished 3rd in the league in passing touchdowns this season and more importantly, he has put the Cowboys in a position to win and get in the playoffs. Unfortunately for the Cowboys he can’t help them from this point forward.

The new starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys looks to be Kyle Orton. He has started 69 games with a record of 35-34. Orton is a gamer and has a decent amount of starting experience with the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears. With Romo out, Orton is going to have to use his experience to his advantage to push the Cowboys into the playoffs
