Anthony “Showtime” Pettis Chokes Out Gilbert Melendez To Retain The UFC Lightweight Title At UFC 181 (GIF)

Anthony Pettis defeated Gilbert Melendez to defend his UFC Lightweight title at 1:53 of the second round at UFC 181 via guillotine choke. In the first minute of the second round, Pettis caught Melendez with a right hook, and then when Melendez came into him, Pettis slapped a guillotine choke on and the rest was history.
