Denny Hamlin Wins Pole for Dover

A week after winning in New Hampshire, Denny Hamlin and the No. 11 FedEx Toyota is still making waves.

On Saturday afternoon, Hamlin captured his first pole at Dover International Speedway with a lap of   22.599 seconds, 159.299 mph. Hamlin is definitely continuing to prove he is ready to win a Sprint Cup championship. This is Hamlin’s third pole of the 2012 season.

Fellow Chase driver, Clint Bowyer,will join Hamlin on the front row on Sunday.

Coverage for the AAA 400 from the Monster Mile starts on ESPN at 1pm EST on Sunday.
